By accessing or using PromptBeat (the "Service"), including the mobile application, cloud platform, hook scripts, and any related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
PromptBeat is a permission control and remote AI chat relay for AI coding agents (Claude Code, OpenAI Codex CLI, Google Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot CLI). The Service intercepts tool calls made by those agents on your development machine, transmits them to a server we operate, and forwards them to your paired mobile device for approve / deny / edit decisions. The Service also enables you to start an AI chat session against an agent running on your laptop from your phone, with messages and tool calls relayed through the same server.
Because the Service is a relay, the server necessarily receives, processes, and stores the data it relays. The Privacy Policy contains the full inventory of what is stored, how long it is kept, and which third-party processors are involved.

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials, including passwords, API keys, and authentication tokens. You must not share your credentials with others. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You may delete your account at any time through the app or API. Upon deletion, all associated data (permission records, rules, API keys, and device registrations) will be permanently removed. We may also terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
API keys ("pb_..." tokens) grant programmatic access to the Service. You are responsible for securing your API keys and all actions performed using them. Treat API keys as sensitive credentials — do not commit them to version control, share them publicly, or embed them in client-side code.
You may revoke any API key at any time through the app or API. Revoked keys are immediately and permanently invalidated. We may revoke API keys that are compromised, abused, or used in violation of these Terms.
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will provide reasonable advance notice of planned maintenance when possible.
PromptBeat is currently offered free of charge with all features included. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans or change pricing in the future with reasonable advance notice.
To support ongoing development and infrastructure costs, we also reserve the right to introduce third-party advertising, marketing partnerships, sponsored content, and usage analytics (such as Google Analytics or an equivalent) on the marketing website and/or inside the mobile applications. We may also derive and publish aggregated, de-identified developer trends from product-usage data. If we introduce any of these, the Privacy Policy is updated with the specific providers, what data they receive, and any consent or opt-out mechanisms required by applicable law (including GDPR consent for EU users and CPRA opt-out for California residents). Your individual account data, prompts, commands, and chat history are not passed to advertisers as part of serving ads; if you click an ad and submit information directly to the advertiser, that submission is governed by the advertiser’s own privacy policy.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
The PromptBeat name, logo, and branding are our property. The Service's user interface design, documentation, and marketing materials are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You retain all rights to the data you transmit through the Service, including permission requests, tool input, and configuration. We claim no ownership over your content. We access your content only as necessary to provide the Service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
PromptBeat is a security and productivity tool that adds a layer of human oversight to AI agent actions and enables remote AI chat. It reduces risk but does not eliminate it. You remain responsible for the security of your development environment and for reviewing any code generated through AI chat sessions.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PROMPTBEAT, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PromptBeat and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the app, on our website, or by email. Your continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.
PromptBeat is operated by an individual based in India, with infrastructure hosted in Germany. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the competent courts of India. If you are accessing the Service from the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, those laws apply to you to the extent they cannot be contracted around.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PromptBeat regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
